1、牛津高中英语高考复习策略关于高三英语教学,相当一部分老师认为高考不会考教材上的内容。于是就把教材放在一边,收集各地的模拟卷,让学生反复操练。然而,高三英语教学不应该局限于学生做模拟题,教师讲模拟题这一层面上。目前的高考既有选拔功能,又有导向作用。对于高考与教学的关系,我们应该有一个清醒的认识。高考是一种选拔学生的手段,而平时的教学是为了促进学生的学习,学生学习是为了今后的发展,因此,高考是教与学的一部分。英语课程标准明确指出,英语教材是英语课程的核心部分,是学校英语教学的核心材料。用好用活教材对于英语教学有着非常积极地作用。2010年普通高等学校招生全国统一考试(湖南卷)考试说明给出的信号之一
2、就是教师应该用好用活教材。2010年湖南高考的结构如下:项目答题方式题量分值小计权重听力1选择151.522.515%听力2填空51.57.55%语法选择1511510%完形1选择121.51812%完形2填空81.5128%阅读选择1523020%写作1填空101107%写作2回答42.5107%写作3表达1252517%150100%从表中可以看出,有助于考查学生扎实基础和思维表达的主观题达到了43%。考查的形式以填空、回答和书面表达为主。这些形式在牛津高中英语教材中的每一模块均有体现。主观题的加强进一步加强了高考对教学的正面导向作用。那么,如何进一步用好用活教材呢?以下做法供参考:一、教
3、材主阅读前的三个问题,教师应该要求学生在课前预习好,教师要检查学生是否把问题答在教材上。不要仅仅停留在口头检查,既要口头,更要书面。二、project版块中阅读材料后面的问题也需落实在书面上。三、教材中提供的小短文可以改编为缺词填空,形式上可以是先给出所缺词的首字母,然后过渡到无字母提示。四、对于书中workbook中两篇阅读材料可以改编后作为学生自主学习的材料,教师主要是检查学生是否利用课余的时间完成。这样做的目的是确保了学生有一定的语言输入量,有确保了语篇材料的科学性和适用性,因为这些经过中外专家编辑过的语篇的质量是可以得到保证的。以下是一经过改编的范例:m1 unit 1 reading

7、低的体现,教师要努力让学生能说会写。此处重点是教师要帮助指导学生克服词汇关:1. 过单词识记关要求学生见词了解基本的词义,尤其是一些词义单一的词,如:available,biology,century,devotion,environment等。2. 过词汇转换关要求学生结合构词法的学习掌握词形的变化,如动词变名词suggestsuggestion; 形容词变名词carefulcarefulness等。 3. 过不规词汇关要求学生掌握不规则动词的变化形式、不规则名词复数变化形式和不规则形容词和副词比较级和最高级变化形式。4. 过各种词组关要求学生十分重视各类词组的学习和运用动词词组,如put
8、away, put up, put forward形容词词组,如 be proud of, be afraid of, be careful of, be aware of名词词组,如 in vain, in return, in need5. 过相似词汇关要指导学生关注形式上相近的词,以免在使用时想当然或吃不准。教师可以要求或者同学一起整理,如:except/expect; affect/effect; adopt/adapt等。 6. 过相异词汇关主要帮助学生整理一组一组的反义词来提高学生学习词汇的效率,如:polite/rude; besides/expect; interesting/
9、boring等。为了进一步加强课堂教学的有效性,教师的课堂活动和训练形式都要多样化。平时训练的目的是促进学生学会运用语言。因此,训练的形式不应该仅仅局限在考试的题型。建议适当减少选择题的量,适当增加训练形式,如:连词成句,培养学生对语序的感悟能力;造句练习,促进学生学习用英语表达的能力;单句改错,引导学生关注常犯错误并培养他们的纠错能力;综合填空,帮助学生通过上下文准确运用英语词汇。以下提供一些多样性的训练形式供参考:一、词汇检测(所选词汇均在考纲词表中出现的)module 7 unit 1a. 根据所给的中文写出一个语法上和语义上均对的词1. whether youre buying onl
