1、英语中常见的表倍数关系的句型可归纳为以下三种： 1).A is X times as adj./adv.(原级) + as B 2).A is X times + +adj./adv.(比较级) + than B 3).A is X times + the + n. (size , length, height, width) + of B,特殊：what 表示“的数量或数目”,相当于the amount/number that Our income is now double what it was ten years ago. 我们现在的收入是10年前的两倍。 The number of

3、的五倍,表示倍数的词：一倍用once，两倍用twice，三倍或三倍以上用基数词+times；此外表倍数的词还有half, a quarter, one third, three fifths, ten percent等，而且倍数名词前还可加表程度的more than, over, less than, no more than, not more than, only, simply等词。例如： This rope is only half the length of that one. The population in that country is only ten percent of
