Traditional industrial automatic control is mainly realized by relays or separated electronic circuits. Although this cont
9、rol method is inexpensive, it has a certain market in some simple products,But it has some flaws. In order to overcome this drawback, various countries have developed programmable logic controller instead of relay control, because of its reliability, anti-interference and other factors, the relay ca
10、n not match. At present, the representative of industrial control are programmable controller (PLC), industrial control computer and computer distributed control system (DCS). In this paper, the application status and development trend of PLC technology are discussed.Characteristics and application

It is a new and universal automatic control device, which is developed with computer technology, electrical control technology, automatic control technology and communic

PLC has the following characteristics: 1, high reliability; 2 programming convenient and easy to use; 3 control function is very strong; 4 extension machine and external connection is very convenient.After more than 20 years of industrial applications, PLC features have become incr
13、easingly recognized and accepted by the broad masses of the industry, making PLC rapidly penetrate all areas of industrial control:(1) logic control of switch quantity.(2) motion control.(3) closed loop process control.(4) data processing.(5) robot control.2. domestic and international PLC applicati
14、on statusThe worlds first known PLC was developed by American Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) in 1969. Limited to the current component conditions and computer development level, the early PLC is mainly composed of discrete components and small and medium scale integrated circuits, which can per
15、form simple logic control and timing and counting functions.Microprocessors appeared in the early 1970s. People quickly introduced it into programmable logic controller, which enabled PLC to add functions such as operation, data transmission and processing, and completed industrial control devices w
16、ith computer characteristics. In order to facilitate the engineering and technical personnel familiar with the relay contact system can use ladder programming controller and relay circuit with similar as the main programming language, computer storage devices and will participate in the operation an

The development of programmable controller in this period is characterized by large scale, high speed, high performance and serialization of products. Another feature of this phase is the increasing number of countries that produce programmable
20、controllers worldwide,yieldIncreasing, this marks the maturity of programmable controllers.At the end of the twentieth Century, the development of programmable controllers was more suited to the needs of modern industry. From the control scale, the period of development of the large machine and supe
21、r minicomputer; from the control, the birth of various special function unit, used to control the pressure, temperature, speed, where every kind of displacement; from product necessary ability, producing a variety of man-machine interface unit, communication unit. The application of programmable con
22、troller in the industrial control equipment supporting more easily. At present, the programmable controller in the machinery manufacture, the petroleum chemical industry, the metallurgy, the iron and steel, the automobile and the light industry and so on domain application has obtained the considera
23、ble development.The introduction, application, development and production of programmable logic controller in our country are accompanied by reform and opening to the outside world. Initially, a large number of programmable controllers were used in the imported equipment. Then, the production of equ
24、ipment and products in various enterprises, expanding the application of PLC. At present, our country has been able to produce small and medium programmable controllers. YZ series of a variety of products such as Shanghai Dongwu Electric Company Limited production of the CF series, Hangzhou electric

26、rocess, PLC will have a wider application field in china.3.PLC development prospectsWith the development of computer science and the increasing demand of industrial automation, programmable control technology has been developed rapidly, and its technology and products are becoming more and more perf

Only PLC control switch of the era of the past, PLC not only for its good performance to meet the wide needs of industrial production, and the communication technology and information processing technology, its function has become more and more perfect. In the future, PLC will mainly develop in

Standardization, on the one hand, guarantees the quality of the products, and on the other hand ensures the compatibility of the products of each manufacturer. Therefore, the standardization of programmable technology is
30、imperative.2CPU processing speed is further acceleratedIn the future, 64 bit RISC chips will be used to realize multi CPU parallel processing or time-sharing processing or sub task processing, so that various modules can be implemented intelligently, and some of the system programs can be solidified

In this way, the PLC executes instructions at a nanosecond rate.3 integration, communication and networkingBecause of the complexity and difficulty of controlling the content, PLC will integrate with PC, integrate with DCS, and integrate with PID.Networking and strengtheni

The actual use of soft PLC software to realize the functions of traditional PLC, its biggest advantage is the flexibility scalability, the user can select a variety of hardware products from different manufacturers, make full use of the bes
