"OFF" is a stable position, whilst the "ON" position only remains during the time the button is depressed. Notes: 1. In UK, this symbol shall not be used to indicate a "functional earthing conductor (FE)" or terminal but shall be used to indicate a "noiseless (clean) earth conductor or terminal." 2. Regarding a symbol to be used in UK to indicate a "functional earthing conductor or terminal (FE)," see IEC 60445 Ed.4.0, Table 1, footnote f.
