（英语语言文学专业论文）人与自然——从生态批评角度看海明威的《老人与海》与福克纳的《熊》.pdf

摘要 海明威和福克纳为同时期且享誉中外的2 0 世纪美国小说家一而之前对两位 作家作品评论基本上只是局限于其写作风格、语言特色、主题和女性意识的比较， 却很少从生态批评角度分析和比较他们的作品。由于以往的生态批评学家大多只 关注于自然写作，而对虚构小说关注甚少，而虚构小说在激发人们的环境保护意 识方面并不亚于自然写作。因此文本特以海明威的老人与海与福克纳的熊 这两部菲自然写作文本从生态角度进行比较，来阐释入与自然关系在其中的体 现。 这两部小说在生态批评发展的起始阶段曾被作为“反生态”文本进行过批 判，原因是两部作品都是以捕猎作为主题来实现人对自然的征服和统治，认为男 子气是环境破坏的根源。而本文欲从新的角度对此进行评论，对两部小说所体现 的生态意识予以肯定，并从男性生态批评角度对其根源进行了分析。本论文旨在
