译林新版英语六年级上册Unit4 Then and now Period 1 Story time 涟水县南门小学 张莉莉 【教材简析】 本课为第一课时,学习内容为Story time,围绕“过去和现在”这一话题展开,主要语言功能是启发学生通过观察和对比,正确使用一般现在时态和一般过去时态。重点学习then, newspaper, e-book等单词,及“ago, she/he和Now, she/he”句型。【设计理念】本节课话题与学生生活密切相关,但是两种时态一起呈现是一个教学难点。因此,我在授课中注重在游戏中创设情境,以学生熟知的“大战僵尸”入手勾起学生对不规则动词过去式的回忆,接着将本节课需要学习的新单词融入头脑风暴中,有效地避免了学习单词的枯燥性,还渗透了anywhere和from all over the world。接着介绍了迈克,如果很好地完成闯关环节将可以和迈克交朋友,再度激起了学生那种好胜的心理。闯关环节设置不是太难,让学生稍加思考就可以轻松过关,交友成功,然后让他们给迈克写一封电子邮件,介绍自己的家人过去和现在,则是对本篇文章的延伸。观看视频“我们城市的过去和现在”引导学生珍惜眼前的生活,享受E时代。最后把时间拉到二十年后,让学生大胆想象自己生活中的变化,用过去时描述现在的生活,并让他们小组合作,在体验和参与中更好地理解和运用所学语言。【目标预设】1.知识目标(1)学生能掌握e-book, ago, mobile phone, newspaper等单词及几个动词过去式。(2)学生能理解Story time。(3)学生能理解和区分一般现在时态和一般过去时态。2.能力目标能理解和区分一般现在时态和一般过去时态。3.情感态度目标学生能感受到生活中各个领域发生的巨大变化。【教学重、难点】1.教学重点ago, she/he和Now, she/he句型。2.教学难点句型:一般现在时态和一般过去时态的比较和运用词汇:不规则变化的动词过去式【课前准备】PPT、cards【教学过程】Step I: GreetingsT: Good morning, boys and girls. We use mobile phone、e-books and internet in our daily life, we call “now” , today we are going to learn Unit4 Then and now. Please read after me Unit4 Then and now. 【设计意图】使用头脑风暴,将所要学习的单词巧妙的结合到一起,顺便学习,不会让学生产生排斥的心理,也为下面的语篇学习降低难度。将头脑风暴中的电话、报纸、收音机进行归类放在上面一排,出示单词then,将手机、电子书、互联网归类放在下面一排,出示单词now,揭示课题:Unit4 Then and now.Step III: Presentation T: (show a picture)Who is he?Ss: Hes Mike.Do you want to make friends with me? Read and underline what can/ do they do now.Task4:Read and write.Read in pairs, and finish the exercise on page 38.(小组读课文,然后完成38页练习,每组一个角色。)【设计意图】处理文本时引导学生由浅入深,反复听录音和阅读,整体理解语篇,理解和比较一般现在时态和一般过去时态,并能有效培养学生阅读技能。Step IV: Practice1. Write emails.T: You can make friends with Mike. Please write to Mike to introduce your family many years ago.【设计意图】在学Story time之后,自然地由“Mike一家过去和现在”这一话题,引申到他们自己家庭的“过去和现在”, 为学生提供运用所学知识的平台,达到了在用中学、在学中用、学以致用的目的。2.
