2006年广东省高中新课程 骨干研究班研修专题四方案 高中英语课程评价改革,主讲:华南师范大学 外文学院 何广铿,高中英语课程评价改革,一、高中英语课程评价中较受关注的问题 二、普通高中英语课程评价改革的内容 三、高中课程关于终结性评价的论述 四、试题设计的案例讨论 五、终结性评价与高考英语科考试,一、高中英语课程评价中较受关注的问题 1、20世纪我国全日制普通高中英语教学大纲对考试和评价的描述(何安平等,2006:16-17),2. 社会及教师对高中英语课程评价的一些看法 1)社会一些关于教育评价的说法(何安平等,2006:3) (1)评价就是考试; (2)考试就是考学生; (3)考试就包括期中考、期末考、中考和高考; (4)考试的方式就是笔试和多项选择和答案唯一的 客观题; (5)考试的好坏关键看分数; (6)要考好英语关键是背单词和记语法; (7)学生的一切学习就是为了考试; (8)高中老师的一切工作就是为了准备高考。,2.社会及教师对高中英语课程评价的一些看法 2) 高中课改实验区英语教师的反馈意见(何安平 等,2006:24),二、普通高中英语课程评价改革的内容 1. 基本理念(高中课程:3) 高中英语课程要建立旨在促进学生全面发展的 多元化评价体系。评价要有利于学生的发展,对学 生的学习起到促进作用。要采用形成性评价和终结 性评价相结合的方式,着重评价学生的综合语言运 用能力以及在学习过程中表现出的情感、态度和价 值观。评价体系要有助于学生监控、调整自己的学 习目标和学习策略,要有助于学生增强英语学习的 信心。,2. 课程评价改革的内涵 1) 评价体系:多元化 鼓励学生、同伴、教师以及家长共同关注与参与 评价 2) 评价方式:多样化 形成性与终结性评价相结合,以形成生评价为主; 定性与定量评价相结合,以定性评价为主; 他评与自评相结合,以自评为主; 综合性与单项评价相结合,以综合性评价为主。,3) 评价目的:促进学生健康发展 激励学生学习,帮助学生及时而有效地监控调整 自己的学习目标和策略;使学生获得成就感,增 强自信心;培养合作精神。有利于学生发展,对 学生的学习起促进作用;有利于学生从被动接受 评价转为评价主体和积极参与者。 4) 评价重点:学生的综合语言运用能力以及在学习过程中表现出的情感、态度和价值观。 5) 评价工具:有利多元评价的评价工具 形成性评价活动及评价标准 终结性评价的试题设计,三、高中课程关于终结性评价的论述 1. 终结性评价采用形式:考试(学期考核、学 段考核和毕业考核) 2. 终结性评价目标:学生综合语言运用能力 3. 终结性评价试卷设计:通过理解与表达任务 检测学生运用语言的能力,考试任务应体现 技能的综合性;主观性试题占一定比例,适 当减少客观题;笔试应避免单纯语音知识题 与单纯语法题;听力考试所占比例不少于 20%。,三、高中课程关于终结性评价的论述 4. 终结性评价形式:口试、听力考试和笔试形式 5. 终结性评价评分办法:制定严谨的评分标准与 方法并对考官和评卷人进行培训。 6. 终结性评价的技术支撑:使用电脑、多媒体和 网络技术辅助终结性评价,四、试题设计的案例讨论 1. 听力试题设计 1) 单项选择(略) 2) 是非题(略),3) 完成句子(何安平等2006:228-229),Directions: In this part of the test, you are required to write out the missing parts of the passage. Bachman 和 Palmer 关于设计和评价考试的六大因素 2. 高考英语科近20年试题的变化 3.课程终结性评价和高考NMET的异同 4.高考英语科考试命题发展的方向,3课程终结性评价和高考NMET的异同:,相同之处: 1)考查综合语言运用的能力; 2)不应使用脱离语境的语音语法题型; 3)考试应包括口试、听力和笔试; 4)听力的比例不少于20%; 5)使用电脑和多媒体辅助考试; 6)两种考试都应使用高质量的考试,特别应考 虑考试任务的信度、效度、真实性、交互性和反拨作用。,3课程终结性评价和高考NMET的异同:,不同之处: 1)终结性评价是成绩考试,而高考是选拔性的 水平考试; 2)NMET是大型的考试,应更多考虑评卷信度、反拨作用和操作性; 3)在终结性考试中主观性试题应占一定比例,要根据特定级别目标与具体要求而定。,4 高考英语科考试命题发展的方向,1)考查学生综合语言运用能力; 2)不应使用脱离语境的语音语法题型; 3)考试应增加口试; 4)听力的比例不少于20%; 5)使用电脑和多媒体辅助考试; 6)组成一支高素质的评卷和考官队伍。,当代国际著名的语言测试验专家Bachman和Palmer(1996)曾提出优化现代语言考试设计的6大原则, 首先阅读国内外学者关于这六大原则的文摘,以明了判断考试质量的六个指标。,1、考试信度(reliability) 简单来说就是考分的一致性(consistency of test scores)。从理论上讲,如果一个考试具有较高信度的话,无论在什么情况下对同组学生施考多少次,学生们各次的考试成绩应该一致(邹申、杨任明,2005:34)。在阅卷过程中,不同阅卷人员对同一测试项目(如作文)给予相同的分数,或同一阅卷人员在不同时间评卷时给同一测试项目相同的分数是阅卷信度高的体现。 (转译自Language Test Construction and Evaluation by Alderson et al, 1995; 129),2、效度和结构效度(validity and construct validity) 效度:通俗地说,就是考试达到其预期测试意图的程度。 结构效度:construct在这里指的是语言能力理论中假设的基础能力或特征。比如,我们时常提及阅读能力(reading ability)或写作能力(writing ability),就代表了两个典型的理论能力结构(theoretical construct)。如果一个考试表明能够测量某个理论能力结构,它就具有结构效度 (摘自简明英语测试教程邹申、杨任明,2005;38,40)。,3、真实性(authenticity) 真实性指某一语言测试任务(a langu
