Credits,Undergraduates 本科生 2012:Around 7500 home and overseas students (100+ overseas students) on campus. 2012年在校生约7500人,海外生100余人 Postgraduates 研究生 2012: more than 30 PhD students and dozens of master students are studying in XJTLU. Many master students of XJTU are supervised by XJTLU staff in Suzhou. 2012年在校博士生30位,硕士生数十位,还有不少西交大硕士生在XJTLU老师指导下学习。 Research and service研究和服务 XJTLU staffs have gotten dozens NSFC general and key research grants, 863 project, NSSF project, and provincial and municipal research projects. XJTLU has created several research centers, TTC and training center to strengthen its research and service. 西浦老师已获国家自然科学基金重点和一般项目、国家863项目、国家社科基金项目以及省市科研项目数十项,成立了一系列研究中心、技术转移中心、培训中心等强化研究和社会服务。 Staff 师资 Currently, XJTLU has more than 400 academic staff and more than 100 support staff. 现有教师400多人,支撑人员100多人。 Campus and facilities校园建设 The construction of north campus will be finished soon. Foundation building, Science Building and Engineering and Management Building have already been put into use. Main building will be ready in the beginning of 2013. 北校区即将建成,基础楼、理科楼和工程楼、经管楼、公共楼等已投入使用。主楼2013年初将投用。,Recent Development of XJTLU 西浦发展现状,Departments, Programmes & Teaching Centres 教学专业系、本科专业与教学中心,Graduates situation 毕业生情况(1),More than 15% of 2010 cohort of students entered the world top10 universities, such as Cambridge, Imperial College London and so on. More than 50% of 2011 cohort of students entered the world top 100 universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Carnegie Mellon, Michigan, Duke, California, Columbia, Pennsylvania(USA), HEC Paris(France), Toronto(Canada), NUS(Singapore), and so on. More than 15% of 2012 cohort of students entered the world top 10 universities and 44% entered the world top 100 universities, among which more than 20 students received offers from Oxford and Cambridge, and more than 100 students received offers from Imperial College London and LSE. 2011 and 2012 cohort of graduates were mostly employed by the world 500 companies, such as Standard Chartered Bank, E&Y UK, PWC, Deloitte, KPMG, China Construction Bank, China Bank, HSBC, etc. Imperial College (EEE) announced: For Chinese applicants studying in China, only consider applications from students studying: C9 or 985, or XJTLU .,Graduates situation 毕业生情况(2),The Future of XJTLU 西浦之未来,Undergraduates 本科生 In future XJTLU will have 12,000-13,000 registered students, among which more than 1,000 will be oversea students and several hundreds are students. 规划注册本科生12,000-13,000人,其中海外留学生1,000多人、数百交流学生。 Postgraduates 研究生 We will create postgraduate school in 2012 and plan to have 1,000-2,000 postgraduate. 研究生规模将在2015年达到1,000到2,000人。 Research and Service 研究和服务 XJTLU is building around 30 characteristic and research-led academic subjects, around 10 world class research institutes or centers, and TTC, training center through collaboration with governments and industrial sector. 西浦将通过与政府和工业界合作,建设30个左右有特色和研究导向的优势学科,10个左右国际一流的研究所和中心,以及技术转移中心、培训中心等。 Staff 师资 In future
